Carson Williams, MD Facial Plastic Surgery does not currently participate with any insurance providers at the Leawood, KS location.


Non-cosmetic services like head and neck skin lesion excisions, skin cancer care, upper eyelid blepharoplasty for visual field deficits, laceration repairs, etc. are available but all services are self-pay. An itemized receipt with a list of codes is provided if the patient wishes to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.


Dr. Williams sees patients at two satellite locations monthly where insurance can be billed. Please contact the office by phone or email if you would like to be scheduled for an appointment at one of these locations.

Cancerous/Non-Cancerous Skin Lesion Procedures

Excision benign/malignant skin lesion $250 - $500 (<1cm to >4cm)
Sentinel lymph node biopsy $1,250
Scar/keloid excision or revision $350 per scar

Reconstructive Procedures

Adjacent tissue transfer (flap) scalp, cheek, neck, nose, eyelid, ear, lip $500 (small), $750 (large), $1000 (very large)
Paramedian forehead flap $1,250
Full thickness skin graft $400-650
Split thickness skin graft $1000
Laceration repair: $250

50-year-old female with an epidermal cyst 2.5cm of the neck referred for excision. Charges are as follows:

New patient office visit (99203): $150
Excision benign neck lesion, 2.5cm (11423): $350

Total: $500

*Insurance information is included to submit specimen to pathology lab and an itemized explanation of charges is provided to the patient if they choose to submit to their insurance for reimbursement
